About Me

Landscaping has never just been a job for me — it has been a lifelong craft, a connection to the land, and a way to serve the people and communities I care about.

With more than 35 years of hands-on experience in the landscape industry, I’ve worked through every stage of the process, from design and installation to long-term maintenance and organic land care. Over the decades, I’ve learned what truly works in Oregon’s climate, how landscapes should be built to last, and how outdoor spaces can shape the way people live in and enjoy their homes.

Earlier in my career, I spent time in the corporate world. While the work was fast-paced and structured, it lacked something important — connection. Jobs were rushed, relationships were transactional, and there was little room for care, craftsmanship, or pride in the finished result. I missed working with my hands, taking the time to do things properly, and building real relationships with the people I served.

That realization led me to step away and build my own business — one rooted in quality, integrity, and community. Oregon Natural Landscapes was created to slow the process down, focus on doing the work right, and treat every property with the respect it deserves.

My approach to landscaping is grounded in sustainability and responsibility. I’ve spent years running 100% organic programs, improving soil health, choosing plants suited to our region, and working with nature rather than against it. I believe a healthy landscape starts below the surface — in the soil, drainage, and structure — and that thoughtful maintenance is just as important as the initial installation.

Beyond client work, giving back has always been important to me. Over the years, I’ve donated my time and services to special events and charitable efforts, helping clean up and restore properties for individuals and families who couldn’t afford the work themselves. Landscaping, at its best, is about care — not just for land, but for people.

Today, my work includes landscape design, installation, hardscaping, drainage solutions, organic maintenance, seasonal cleanups, pressure washing, roof and gutter care, and long-term property stewardship. Whether I’m pruning perennials, building retaining walls, restoring storm-damaged yards, or preparing vacation homes for the season, every job receives the same level of attention and pride.

I believe your landscape should feel natural, functional, and truly connected to where you live. It shouldn’t be rushed, overbuilt, or treated as disposable. My goal is to create outdoor spaces that feel grounded, intentional, and lasting — landscapes that grow better with time and serve the people who live with them every day.

Oregon Natural Landscapes exists to bring craftsmanship back to landscaping, to support our local communities, and to help homeowners enjoy their properties without stress or shortcuts. This work matters to me — because it’s personal, it’s honest, and it’s rooted right here in Oregon.
